Shipping & Handling

Shipping: Shipping is calculated based on weight and percentage of the purchase price. We ship via USPS, UPS and FedX. You must have a residential or commercial address for items that will not fit in a postal box. If items are returned to us because you entered the wrong address, you will be charged to re-route the items back to you, please enter your address carefully. We ship within 3 business days of placing your order. If there are any delays, you will hear from us by email. Products are guaranteed to be free from defects and will be replaced or refunded immediately.(Unless otherwise stated in product information, ex: clearance) Other unopened products in salable condition may be returned within 30 business days with a return confirmation from us before sending products back. Return shipping is paid by the customer.Currently we are not shipping outside of the USA.


Damaged and defective products:

We pack things very well here at Happy Tails Pet Center, in part because we are a small company that pays attention to detail and because we strive for great customer satisfaction.
That being said, damage can happen during shipping.If you receive a box that is in poor condition, you have the right to refuse it and notify us.
 Damages and shortages must be reported within 48 hours .
 You will need a return authorization from us before returning products.When you return an item, please indicate the reason for your return.

 
Returns: A 15% or $5.00 restocking fee (whichever is greater) will be charged for all returns (excluding damaged and defective items);
 All products need to be in salable condition, in original packaging with original tags.
 Seasonal items, cards, books and communication cards are not returnable unless defective.
Customer is responsible for return shipping, including insurance (which is recommended;we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns) on all returns, (unless damaged during shipping).  
 Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. 


 
 If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.

Your packing slip will indicate where you need to send your return. In general, though, you may return merchandise to:

Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am until 6:30 pm, Saturday 11:00 am until 5:30 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Prepaid special orders are available for items we do not currently stock, but no returns will be accepted. (Food and treats are always guaranteed)
